This European predator fish tournament is similar like the tournaments held in the USA. The Predatortour will be held in various European countries. Each year we fish in a different country. In 2011 (4, 5, & 6 July)the third edition will be held in the Netherlands and 2012 we fish in Sweden. 2013 will follow soon.

Besides winning attractive prizes each match, there will be points awarded for ranking the "European overall winner". You can join all tournament games but you can also participate in one single match. Each match you can win all kind of attractive prices such as a luxury Marcraft fishing boat, free fishing holidays to Canada, Sweden, Ireland & Norway.

In order, not to be a competitor to already existing tournaments, the Predatortour will be held in the springtime only.

The Objectives will be:

• Animal friendly tournament, Catch & Release only!
• No fish will be killed or bring home for consumption, etc.
• Participants from all over Europe.

The prizes are:

• Besides winning all those prices all participants will receive alsosponsor gifts from our sponsors.

• All participant will receive an original Predatortour fishing cap.

About the tournament:

• Match number 3 will start inThe Netherlands 2011.
• Match number 4 will start in Sweden 2012.
• Match number 5 will follow soon.

About the rules:

• The match will be held over 3 days of fishing.
• You fish as a team, 2 people in 1 boat.
• 2 rods per person.
• During the match it's forbidden to fish with (live) bait fish. Lures only!
• We fish on 3 predator species: 6 Zanders, 3 Perch & 1 Pike. 
• You have to catch a minimum of 6 Zanders, 3 Perches & 1 Pike to be a winner.
• The total length of all species together will count for points.
• Each centimetre of fish is 1 point.
• To get the points, practise: Catch, Photo & Release. 
• You have to put the fish on camera. (See picture below)
• After you catch the fish, you put it on the measure board, take the picture & release the fish.
• You will receive the disposable camera & measure board on the first day of the match.
• All teams shall have a digital camera as back-up for the disposable camera.
• More details and specific rules will be told on the day before the match will start.
